About Hilary Hart

Hilary lives on Whidbey Island, Washington. Her writing, editing, and teaching focuses on topics pertaining to mysticism, and particularly the urgent need to include feminine spiritual awareness into collective cognitive and socio-political structures.

She is an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University in Seattle.

Born in Boston, Hilary attended Yale University and received an MA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She practiced Tibetan Buddhism for a number of years before meeting her teacher, a Sheikh in the Naqshbandhi Sufi lineage.
